Cover the whole silhouette
Brush over the person from head to foot, including loose hair, bags or anything they are holding.
Include the shadow
A leftover shadow can reveal where someone stood. Add it to the selection if you want the area to feel natural.
Keep the selection focused
Avoid painting over the person you want to keep. Use Unmark or Undo if your brush reaches too far.

LIMITATIONS
What AI removal can’t do
The removed area is filled in from what surrounds it. It’s a convincing guess, not the real scene that was hidden. Repeating patterns, overlapping people and very large selections are the hardest cases and may need a second pass. Zoom in and check the result before you print or share it.

Can I choose which person to remove?
Yes. Brush over the person you want removed. Leave everyone you want to keep unpainted.
Will the original background be recovered?
No. What was behind the person was never captured, so the editor fills the area based on the surrounding scene. It usually looks natural, but it’s a reconstruction, not the original background.
What if people overlap?
Select only the person to remove, including their shadow when needed. Overlapping faces or bodies are more difficult and may require another edit.
Which photos can I upload?
JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 20 MB and 25 megapixels. If a very large photo won’t open on your phone, try a computer or a smaller version of the photo.
Can I download at the original photo size for free?
Yes. Every result downloads at the same width and height as your original, including edits made with free credits. Only the area you brushed changes. Files are saved as PNG, and camera metadata such as EXIF is not kept.
How many credits does an edit use?
Each edit uses 3 credits, and your first Google sign-in gives you 3 free. Only the area around your selection is repaired, at close to its original resolution, and the download keeps your photo’s full dimensions. Results depend on the photo and selection.
